I’m so excited that you’re here!

 

I really want this to be OUR space! I’m looking forward to sharing with you, but I’m even more excited for you to share with me! I really want to CONNECT with YOU!!

 

I wanted you to know what to expect here. I promise to be real and authentic with you. I’ll share with you tips and insights I’ve learned over the years on my own health journey and while working with my clients. You’ll find me writing about: the broad category of health and wellness, diet (in the general sense of the word), fitness, lifestyle, mindset, and more. Being a homeschooling family, you may even see some of that here if you are interested. You’re likely to hear me getting quite personal with you. I am always inspired by others’ stories and hope you are too.

 

I promise to be real and authentic with you.

 

My goal is to share a blog post with you once a week. In my commitment to being real, I’ll put a disclaimer out now. We ALL get busy. We live REAL lives in a sometimes CRAZY world. I am no different. It’s incredibly important for me to put my health and family first. So, I’ll rest if I need to rest, and I hope you will too! I always intend to walk my talk and I’m passionate about all of us striking a “balance” between “work” and rest. You’re likely to hear about this quite often from me. I WILL do my best to provide you with regular, valuable content, as this is also a passion and priority for me. This is where I really need you. I would absolutely LOVE it if you would let me know your questions and needs so I can address them here for you. This will help to make the content that much more valuable for YOU! So please comment on my posts and send me emails. I’m looking forward to them!

What you likely won’t find here is much in the way of recipes. There are so many incredible real food blogs out there. I like to think I can be rather creative in the kitchen and make some pretty tasty food, but I’m a really simple cook 98% of the time. I’m also a “little of this; little of that” kind of cook. I don’t write recipes and rarely follow recipes; rather I get inspired by recipes. You’re also not very likely to see me providing the typical mainstream advice. I’m hoping the content I provide will provoke you to think and ask questions. So often we do things because it was the way we were taught or the way we’ve always done it without actually wondering whether it’s the best approach for us. I’m constantly finding examples of this in my own life.

 

So, let’s get this party started!!!

    Your website it beautiful. I am always so inspired by your words on Instagram and look forward to seeing more from you on your blog! I love this bit you posted about food not always being what you need to cure a hunger. On my ferry ride back from work today I reached for a snack and thought to myself, your not hungry for that! What I was craving was 10 minutes of peace and quiet after a long, loud and busy day. Thank you for that!
